I purchased the Falcon2 Pro 40W All-in-One Kit a few weeks ago, and I’m still blown away every time I hit “start.” I’ve used several diode lasers before, but nothing this polished, powerful and calmly professional. This really feels like a mini production machine, not a hobby toy.
Out of the box, it was basically ready to go. The unit comes pre-assembled and the setup took me under 30 minutes, including connecting the camera and installing software. The enclosed design with the built-in exhaust and air assist means I can run it indoors without filling the room with smoke or noise. I also decided to buy the Creality Falcon Smoke Purifier, which in my opinion is absolutely essential for a 40W enclosed laser if you plan to do real production work. Together they keep fumes and smells under control and make longer jobs much more comfortable. My family immediately noticed how much cleaner and quieter this is compared to open-frame lasers. The overall build quality is excellent – solid metal frame, precise motion, doors that close firmly, and no cheap or wobbly parts. It feels like a machine built to work every day, not just occasionally.
The 40W power is no joke. I’m cutting 15–20 mm basswood in a single pass and 8–10 mm plywood with clean edges and far less char than I expected. At the same time, the free 1.6W module is fantastic for ultra-fine engraving on coated metal and detailed logos. Switching between “Precise” and “Normal” beam modes really makes this feel like two machines in one.
The camera and enclosed workspace are now “must-have” features for me. Being able to see the whole bed, arrange multiple items, and line up artwork on scrap pieces saves so much time and material. The drawer-style crumb tray is another genius touch – I just pull it out, dump the debris, and I’m ready for the next job.
Choosing the All-in-One Kit was the right call. The rotary, risers, and honeycomb bed mean I can jump straight into tumblers, glasses, and other 3D objects without hunting for extra accessories. In just a few sessions I’ve made wooden signs, acrylic keychains, engraved stainless tags and personalized gifts that look absolutely professional.
Is it perfect? No machine is. The camera calibration takes a little patience the first time, and there’s a learning curve if you’re new to lasers. But the core experience – build quality, power, safety, ease of use and results – is outstanding. This is the first laser I feel confident leaving running while I prepare the next project instead of hovering nervously.
In short: the Falcon2 Pro 40W All-in-One Kit has completely raised my expectations of what a desktop laser can be. It’s fast, powerful, safe, beautifully built and, together with the Smoke Purifier, ready for serious work. If you’re on the fence, this is the machine that will make you fall in love with laser engraving all over again.
