    It gets the job done on 3mm basswood blanks and leather

    Good laser

    This laser requires assembly out of the box, and while not overly difficult, it does require a good workspace, and if possible, an extra set of hands to simplify the process. The software is also something that you need to decide upon for yourself. Despite having several years of 3D printer experience, the software, and syncing said software to the laser proved more difficult than I had expected. This included SD card had no memory stored on it either, so you'll basically need to contact customer support to get the ball rolling if you want to actually use this. All that said, this is an efficient laser that makes precise cuts and engravings. Ensure your workspace has ventilation and you'll be good to go. Overall, this is an excellent beginner laser that has proven to be a lot of fun. Worth the investment!!
